Kids loves to pretend and play. And playing a superhero is the best. There’s the superman costume, the Batman costume and and now there’s also Ben Tennyson with his omnitrix watch
with all the actions and sounds. For those not familiar with Ben 10, it’s a cartoon about a boy who can turn into different aliens. And yes there’s also a Ben10 costume. You can pick up a superb selection from Amazon or you could try and make your own! Just follow the simple directions below to make the Ben 10 shirt and pants.

Supplies:
Plain white shirt
Black fabric paint- costs about a dollar at the craft store
Painters tape
Sponge Brush, Paint Brush
Wax Paper

Place Painters tape on front/center of t-shirt to make a 3 inch wide stripe. Make sure the tape is pressed firmly down on the t-shirt. You can measure it out if you wish, or just eyeball it.

Place wax paper inside the shirt so the paint does not bleed through to the back of the shirt. Paint inside the blue tape. Make sure to place the paint on evenly for best results.

Last paint the the collar of the shirt and the edges of the sleeves.  Make sure to place wax paper in the sleeves and neck. Let dry, turn over and do the back of the neck and sleeves.

For Pants
You can purchase green pants at the thrift store. Another option is to dye an old pair of khaki pants green. You can purchase green fabric dye at most craft stores.

For the Watch
You might already have the watch – called an Omnitrix -  since it’s one of the most popular of the ben10 toys,  so won’t have to make anything. However, if you don’t want to go out and buy it just draw one on the child’s wrist with face paints.

Ben 10 Alien Swarm is an upcoming live-action movie coming November 25, 2009 based on the animated series Ben 10 Evolution. It is the sequel to the 2007 live-action movie Ben 10 Race Against Time.

The movie is produced and directed by Alex Winter once again and written by John Turman and James Krieg. The cast were revealed throughout the Ben 10 Week towards the end of March 2009 in special commercials that can be viewed on the movie website and on the Turner Newsroom. A teaser shown during the premiere of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

According to the current website, Ben 10 Alien Swarm is rated TV-PG V. It will be released on DVD and B-Ray six days after the TV premiere of the film.

The storyline of the television movie follows Ben as he makes the tough and somewhat contentious decision to break ranks with his fellow Plumber allies in order to help a friend in need. A mysterious girl in her own right, Elena, a long-time friend of Ben’s, hints at an oncoming alien threat to the Earth. As such, Ben Tennyson, along with Gwen and Kevin, lend their super powered instincts to help Elena in her mission to find her missing father, Validus.

More of the plot had been revealed during the weeks that await the release of the movie in November. Every movie that premiered on Cartoon Network in November, before the release of the movie, gave a sneak peek of Alien Swarm. The latest, and longest, sneak peek was shown right after the premiere of Ed, Edd n Eddy’s Big Picture Show.

It revealed that most black market dealers hadn’t known that Kevin was working with Ben and Gwen. It was also revealed that Kevin’s voice changes heavily when he absorbs objects, unlike the series when his voice is barely affected. It is also shown that in the movie, transformations no longer show Ben flashing green. Now, the transformations are seen how everyone but Ben sees them.

Ben10 Heroes

Benjamin Tennyson
Ben fills the role of leader after Max disappears. The Omnitrix has been recalibrated, giving him access to a new set of alien heroes. Over the past few years, Ben has matured dramatically.

Gwendolyn Tennyson
Gwen is much more proficient with her powers, able to manipulate energy directly as opposed to using spells (this is revealed to be due to Gwen having an alien heritage), where she can manipulate energy to create blasts, shields, and energy like grapple holds. Although she’s not nearly as fiery or short-tempered as before, Gwen is still always looking out for her cousin. She also is presumed to have feelings for Kevin Levin.

Kevin Ethan Levin
A former nemesis of Ben, Kevin is now getting by as an alien tech dealer. He unintentionally gets involved in the Highbreed plot, and joins Ben out of a desire to make up for his actions. His abilities now allow him to absorb the properties of any solid matter he touches. But in the third season premiere Kevin is mutated into a being with a segmented body composed of several different solid substances, and as a result, he now has the power to shape-shift his limbs into any solid substance he can think of. He is also presumed to have feelings for Gwen Tennyson

Max Tennyson
Max is a semi-retired member of the Plumbers. He disappears while investigating the Highbreed plot, leaving only a few cryptic messages for Ben to find. He is briefly reunited with his grandchildren in “Max Out”, but sacrifices himself to destroy a Highbreed factory at the end of the episode. In the episode “Voided”, Ben and Max reunite in the Null Void, and he promises Ben that he’ll come back soon. He eventually returns in the second season finale of the show, “War of the Worlds” to aid Ben in his final assault against the Highbreed.

Julie Yamamoto
Julie is Ben’s girlfriend. She enjoys tennis, eating chili fries, and caring for her pet, Ship (an alien Mechomorph found by her and Ben).

Ben10 Villains

Highbreed
The Highbreed believe themselves to be the purest of all species, and intend to cleanse the galaxy of impure lower life forms. Earth is their current target. It is later revealed that they are dying out, having lost their resistance to disease due to heavy inbreeding, and that they intend to destroy the rest of the universe with them.

DNAliens
Hybrids of humans and alien drones that serve the Highbreed, the DNAliens are able to disguise themselves as humans using special identity masks.

The Forever Knights
An organization that has worked in secret ever since their formation in the Middle Ages. The Forever Knights will trade alien technology with anyone who’s willing, even the Highbreed.

Vilgax
Vilgax returns in Season 3 with a new look (he had new armors, weapons and abilities). He loses to Ben in the episode “Vengence of Vilgax” and was banned from Earth, though he swore vengeance.
