While I was watching Ben 10 alien swarm the live action Ben 10 alien force movie, I noticed that Ben and Gwen were calling their own grandfather "Max".

The reason it annoys me is the fact that on the show they always say either "grandpa" or "grandpa Max".

The rest of the movie was Good accept at the beginning his watch was on the fritz and he said please "Spider-monkey" and he got the wrong "Big chill" instead.His watch wasn’t supposed to go on the fritz anymore because in "Alien force" it doesn’t do that anymore.Can someone explain that to.

Oh yeah the Girl in the movie named Elena replaced his other love interest "Julie Yamamoto" which seemed a little off to me also because she was their during the entire show and then they replace her.

My son is Obsessed with "super hero’s" any and all. From "Superman" to "Ben 10". It is all he talks about all day and will ask me questions like "guess who i am " , which changes every 2 min. Then he will jump around constantly pretending he is one or other of these "heroes" . Now i know boys like heroes but why cant he like cars and lego like other boys? He doesn’t play with any other toys apart from his Hero figurines, and i dont think this is healthy. How can i stop this?

I’m a bit lost! – Heres’ the situation

My 5 year old, gets from us on average a toy a week, (give or take)thats’ not including kinder eggs and his magazines.
How I think this happens is, his favourite thing in the world in Ben 10..so Ben and TEN charactors to make the whole to set, plus the enemies, it goes on. Having gotton him virtually all of them, over 2008 now they’ve brought out a new series and re-designed everything! ugh!

I can honestly say shorty has more toys at age 5 than I can remember having in my entire childhood (she says with a smile~)
Sometimes I feel like, is it me?..or are there just too many pushes for toys…every other advert…every store selling something toylike..it winds me up. On the one hand, I want to give, I want him to have everything he needs to really drive his playing and learning. On the other hand, I feel like a cash cow, and is it really nessecary?
I feel in a daze trying to figure out if its’ right or not?…any body relate to how I feel?…I’d love to hear people talking about it, I don’t know if I’m out of sync, I sure feel it tho.

The Question:

I want now, to introduce Shorty to the concept of value. And what it is, to earn & save. He understands and can calculate basic math, so, no reason to wait now.
The average price of the toys I’m buying is £5
The average price of magazines is £3 (help a LOT getting him 2 read)
Kinders eggs average 3 pw is £1.20 (he rarely eats the chocolate, so I don’t mind, its’ the toy he’s after)

So, there are his ‘out-goings’

I feel I should stop now buying for him, and instead, give him pocket money, I’ll be using the same disapline..(if he’s behaviors not good, then he doesn’t get)

What I’m asking is…how much should I give him?
And…should I still buy say the magazines, or hand full responsiblity over to him? He’s bright enough to handle it, it wouldn’t be to much for him…I mean it as to say, should I make it a lil easier for him.

I appreciate any websites u guys knw of, but, I’d really like ur opinion more than anything.

I’ve always made him conscious earning, I’m lucky being self-employed, he’s met a few of my clients, and knows I work to get paid, he’s quite switched on.I’ve been using buying things to count..u know, he’s doing math at school…its got it all together, and wev been using chores and homework as his way of ‘earning’ and that..its where to go now and how.x
